Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lbs. ground beef

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ cup chopped onion

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

For the Glaze:

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.

  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.

  4. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard to create the glaze. Spread it evenly over the meatloaf.

  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and chopped

  • ½ cup butter

  • ½ cup heavy cream (or milk)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15-20 minutes).

  2. Drain and return to the pot.

  3. Add butter and heavy cream, then mash until smooth.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Green Beans (Simple Side)

  • Steam or sauté fresh green beans with butter, garlic, and a pinch of salt for a delicious complement to your meal.
