Quick Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. beef sirloin, thinly sliced

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, snap peas)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Cook beef for 2-3 minutes, then remove and set aside.

  2. Add remaining oil and stir-fry vegetables for 3-4 minutes.

  3. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Add to the pan along with the garlic.

  4. Return beef to the skillet, add the cornstarch mixture, and toss until the sauce thickens (about 1-2 minutes).

  5. Serve over rice or noodles.
